Board of Trustees?

Advocacy in Gateshead and South Tyneside would like people to join the Board of Trustees to help us do our job.

What the Board of Trustees do

	The Trustees make sure that the Charity is run in the best way. Advocacy in Gateshead and South Tyneside's main aim is to support people with learning disabilities to obtain full rights and privelages as citizens.
	To do this we need people with lots of skills and experience to be part of our Board of Trustees.
	We would like members of the board to have: an interest in the work of the organisation experience of monitoring services experience of managing and supporting staff expericen of managing money matters the time to attend Board of Trustee meetings every other month
	We would organise any training that was needed.

Being a member of our Board of Trustees means you will have the chance to be part of giving people with learning disabilities more choice and control over their lives.
